เช่น การเปลี่ยนแปลง - John has grown a lot.
หรือ ประสบการณ์ - John has worked in a lot of different jobs.
♦แต่คนอังกฤษ มักใช้ present perfect ในการกระทำเดี่ยว ๆ (single actions)
เช่น I've (I have) lost my key.
กรณีเดียวกันนี้ คนอเมริกัน มักจะใช้ I lost my key. คือใช้ simple past tense เฉย ๆ
