- สวัสดีครับท่าน = Good morning, Sir (ใช้กับผู้ชาย)
- สวัสดีครับท่าน = Good morning Madame / Mam (ใช้กับผู้หญิง)

2. SIMPLE PARTING (การลาจากอย่างง่าย)
- ลาก่อน = Goodbye/ Bye
- ราตรีสวัสดิ์ / การลาจากในตอนกลางคืน = Good night
- พบกันอีกนะ = See you (อ่านว่า “ซียอ”)
- พบกันในวันพรุ่งนี้ = See you tomorrow
- พบกันในวันอาทิตย์ = See you on Sunday
- พบกันอาทิตย์หน้า = See you next week
- พบกันเดือนหน้า = See you next month
- พบกันปีหน้า = See you next year
- อย่าลืมเขียนจดหมายมานะ = Don’t forget to write.

3. THANK YOU (ตอบขอบคุณอย่างง่าย)

4. INVITATION (คำพูดง่ายๆในการเชื้อเชิญแขก)
- เชิญข้างใน = Please come in
- เชิญนั่ง = Please sit down / Sit down please / Take a seat
- ท่านเป็นใคร = Who are you? / May I have your name?
- คุณ ........... อยู่ที่นี่ไหม? = Is Mr. / Mrs. here?

- ขอโทษ/เสียใจ = Sorry (คำนี้ใช้ได้เปรียบเหมือนการขอโทษ)

- ขอโทษที่ทำผิดอย่างมาก = May I excuse?

- มันห่างไกลจากที่นี่มากนะ = It’s a long distance from here.

- ท่านรู้สึกอย่างไรกับอากาศตอนนี้ = How do you feel about the weather?
- ก็ดี = That’s OK.

- ไม่รู้สึกหนาวเลย = No, I do not feel cold at all. (คำว่า at all แปลว่า เลย)

13. TRANSACTIONS (เกี่ยวกับการซื้อขาย)
