4 เรื่องที่ไวยากรณ์ไทยไม่เหมือนกับ English grammar
- her short black hair เราพูดภาษาไทยยังไงครับ? ผมของหล่อนดำสั้นหรือสั้นดำ
- some delicious Thai food อันนี้ง่าย อาหารไทยอร่อย
- those square wooden hat boxes
- Look + at = look at = มองดู ก็มองอะไรธรรมดา ๆ นี่แหละ
- แต่ look + in = look in ไม่ได้แปลว่า มองเข้าไป แต่แปลว่า แวะเข้าไปดูหรือเข้าไปเยี่ยม เช่น
She looks in on her elderly neighbour every evening.
เราพูดว่า ฉันไปโรงเรียน, พูดว่า I go school ไม่ได้หรือ, ทำไมต้อง I go to school. ด้วย เอ! อันนี้ผมก็ไม่รู้จะตอบยังไง ก็ฝรั่งเขาพูดกันอย่างนี้นี่ครับ
Are you listening to me? แกกำลังฟังฉันพูดอยู่หรือเปล่า? พูดว่า Are you listening me?
Thai women are very beautiful. Thai kids are cute. Thailand is a good country. Thai people are kind. Buddhism is the national religion.

http://english.stackexchange.com/questions
- Success or successes? Which is correct?
- Should Short Story Titles be italicized or put in quotes?
- Is “In such case” wrong?
Top-10 Learner's English Dictionaries free online

You are what you eat. - You learn what you read.
You are what you eat. คุณเป็นอย่างที่คุณกิน คือ อาหารนี่มันไม่เหมือนหนังสือ เพราะของกินพอเราซื้อมาเราก็กินได้เลย และเราก็เป็นอย่างที่เรากิน อ้วนหรือผอมก็เห็น ๆ กันอยู่
แต่หนังสือ หรือไฟล์หนังสือ มันต่างกันโดยสิ้นเชิง มันไม่ได้ You are what you buy หรือ You are what you download
You learn what you read. แล้วก็อ่านไม่หยุด เหมือนที่เรายึดหลัก You are what you eat. แล้วก็กินไม่หยุด นั่นแหละครับ เราจึงจะไปได้ครบ 3 step คือ คือ (1)สะสม (2)ศึกษา และ (3)success

Language tip of the week จาก Macmillan Dictionary
Language tip of the week จาก Macmillan Dictionary
ความหมายที่ 9 เป็น countable noun เช่น works of Tolstoy
ความหมายที่ 10 เป็น countable noun แต่มักเป็นรูป plural works และเป็นคำประสม แปลว่ากิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวกับ การซ่อม หรือ การสร้าง เช่น roadworks หรือ engineering works
ความหมายที่ 11 ใช้เป็น plural แปลว่าโรงงานที่ผลิตสิ่งของ เช่น an engineering works หรือ a brickworks
ความหมายที่12 ใช้เป็น plural และต้องมี the นำหน้าด้วย เป็น the works แปลว่าส่วนของเครื่องยนต์เครื่องจักรที่เคลื่อนที่ได้
ความหมายที่13 ต้องใช้ว่า the works เป็นคำประเภท informal แปลว่า everything เช่น We went to the chip shop and had the works: fish, chips, gherkins, mushy peas.
capability
ใช้ถูก: ✓ The train has the capability to reach speeds of over 200 miles an hour.
ใช้ถูก: ✓ He has the capability of becoming an excellent teacher.
ability
ใช้ผิด:✗ Tiredness can seriously impair your ability of driving.
ใช้ถูก: ✓ Tiredness can seriously impair your ability to drive.
feasibility
ใช้ผิด:✗ There will be an investigation into the feasibility to build a new bridge.
ใช้ถูก: ✓ There will be an investigation into the feasibility of building a new bridge.
3.ส่วนคอลัมน์ Language tip of the week
Language tip of the week
Language tip of the week จาก Macmillan Dictionary นี้ ซึ่งสามารถนำไปสอนลูกศิษย์ได้
